Empire Aircraft Detailing
Removes exhaust streaking, oil residue, and accumulated grime from aircraft belly and underside surfaces — buildup that standard washing does not fully clear. Restores panel appearance and supports inspection readiness. On-site at San Jose International (SJC) and Bay Area airports.
Our Process
The belly and underside of an aircraft accumulate the heaviest contamination on the airframe — exhaust streaking, oil and hydraulic residue, gear-well grime, and baked-on environmental buildup. A standard exterior wash does not fully clear this, which is why dedicated belly degreasing is a separate, more intensive service.
We use aviation-approved solvents and degreasers that break down oil, soot, and grime without harming paint, sealants, or dissimilar metals. Particular attention goes to exhaust stain patterns, gear wells, and hydraulic leak paths, working the contamination off the surface rather than smearing it.
A clean belly is not just cosmetic. Removing accumulated grime reveals panel surfaces, fasteners, and seams, supporting inspection readiness and making it easier to spot leaks, corrosion, or developing issues during maintenance events and pre-buys.
Belly degreasing can be performed as a standalone service or combined with a full exterior detail. For aircraft with heavy exhaust output, such as many turboprops and piston twins, we recommend building regular belly degreasing into the maintenance cycle.
Service Tiers
Dedicated degreasing of belly and underside surfaces to remove exhaust streaking, oil residue, and grime that standard washing leaves behind.

Restores underside appearance for consistent fleet presentation.
Supports inspection readiness by revealing panels and seams.
Recurring intervals for high-exhaust turboprops and twins.
Combined easily with exterior detailing to save downtime.
Belly degreasing is available for all aircraft types and is especially valuable for turboprops and piston twins with heavy exhaust output. Timeline depends on the level of buildup. We coordinate hangar access where covered work is required.
