Our Process

How We Work

01

System X Max G+ — Boeing Approved

System X Max G+ is a Boeing-approved ceramic coating that provides the highest level of paint protection available for aviation. This professional-grade nano-ceramic coating creates a permanent bond with the paint surface, providing exceptional UV protection, hydrophobic properties, and chemical resistance. The 10-year manufacturer warranty backs the durability of this coating system.

02

System X for Aluminum Aircraft

For aluminum and bare metal aircraft surfaces, the System X product line includes specialized ceramic formulations designed for the unique requirements of unpainted metal. As certified System X installers, we select the appropriate System X product for each surface type — protecting against oxidation, corrosion, and environmental contamination while maintaining the natural appearance of polished aluminum.

03

Paint Correction Prerequisite

Ceramic coating achieves its best results when applied to properly prepared surfaces. Our paint correction process removes swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation, and surface contamination before coating application. This multi-stage correction ensures maximum coating adhesion and the deepest, cleanest finish possible.

04

Application & Cure Process

Ceramic coating application requires controlled conditions and precise technique. Each panel is individually coated, leveled, and inspected before moving to the next section. Cure time varies by product and conditions — typically 24-48 hours for initial cure with full hardness achieved at 7 days. We coordinate hangar access and aircraft scheduling around cure requirements.

05

Cirrus SR22 Compliance Note

Ceramic coating on Cirrus SR22 composite airframes must comply with Cirrus Service Advisory SA25-02 restrictions. Empire Aircraft Detailing uses only Cirrus-approved products on composite surfaces and follows all manufacturer guidance for surface treatment on composite airframes. This is a non-negotiable safety requirement.
